Lindsay Bird Mpetyane is a renowned Australian artist. Lindsay was one of the first few Aboriginal men introduced to work in batik medium with the Utopia women from 1970’s.

Lindsay Bird was instrumental in acrylic paintings at Utopia. Lindsay Bird Mpetyane is the nephew of the great Emily Kame Kngwarreye. After Emily Kame Kngwarreye Lindsay was one of the first Aboriginal artists to have major solo exhibitions. Lindsay Bird work is held in collections worldwide.
